By using the ESL labels from Opticon Sensors, information about the work processes and stock levels can be transmitted faster and digitally. This makes the project workflow much easier and more flexible for the employees from the quality area and production. When we are looking for a user-friendly solution, we always receive support.
For us it was important that the scanner can scan any number of codes offline and mobile, especially 2D codes, and then transfer them to our existing BDE-system after connecting to the PC.
The M-11 scanner is integrated into our T6 rotation lock model. We chose the M-11 scanner from Opticon Sensoren because it has a very good reading performance, a large scanning area and can read different-sized 'print@home' tickets as well as 'mobile phone tickets' in our tests
With the introduction of the bp loyalty programme (customer card programme) at that time, a scanner that can read from the smartphone was necessary. Therefore, the corporate headquarters made an internal recommendation for the OPI-3601, which was then introduced at the Austrian stations. Since the OPH-1005 was already in use for ongoing inventory work, especially at the end of the year and at bistro stations, the changeover to the checkout scanner was very easy. The OPI-3601 is particularly interesting for our stations because of its compact design, ergonomic handling and its ability to read both 1D and 2D barcodes - even from the customer’s smartphone display.
As the ESL software is freely available, we were able to program and test the entire connection ourselves. In case of problems, however, we still had the exemplary support of Opticon Sensoren. We are very satisfied with the current version of the software and the use of the displays in everyday life.
The main reason for switching to the Opticon M-10 scanner was its ability to read a wide variety of barcodes directly from the smartphone display, while being presented in a customer-friendly and easily accessible way in our stores. Our customers can use the M-10 to easily scan their loyalty card, as well as discount coupons, quickly and easily from their smartphone. The M-10 can also be used universally via USB (similar to a keyboard). The quick availability, especially during the Corona phase, and the possibility to test the device have further strengthened the decision for the M-10 scanner.
With the H-31, we wanted to create a solution that works online without having to programme a stand-alone app for it and immediately acts live in the data stock and can thus do without synchronisation. Opticon stands for functionality and adaptability. The quick adaptability of the development department to find a solution in order to be able to work target-oriented with the product was very helpful.
The ESL from Opticon and the OPAL's ESL software have made work processes simpler, faster and more secure. By implementing the OPAL's ESL software and the ESLs from Opticon, a high level of time savings and professional process optimization of workflows have been achieved.
Due to the good cooperation with Opticon, we managed to deliver an outstanding solution for mobile ordering applications. We combined Opticon's innovative hardware platform with Sensational's Software design expertise to offer our customers the complete package.
